UNA PELÍCULA DIRIGIDA POR UN GRAN DIRECTOR, MANEJA LA ÉPOCA CON GRAN ACIERTO, EL CONTENIDO, LA ACTUACIÓN DE LOS PERSONAJES Y LA HISTORIA LA HACEN INTERESANTE.
EL FINAL ES ADECUADO Y HACE A QUE LOS QUE SOMOS ROMÁNTICOS NOS EMOCIONEMOS.

The only one I have read is the Brian Selznick, but it was on a whim back when it first came out and I am very glad I did! The other three look good, too. I thought I saw sehmwoere that Alex Flinn's Beastly was being made into a movie. I haven't read it yet, but I have wanted to for a while.Kailanab4s last post ..

ES MUY BUENA, EL HECHO DE QUE SEA DIRIJIDA POR MARTIN, LO HACE GRADIOSA, LO QUE PASA ES QUE PARA ESTA GENERACION FACILISTA Y POCO ILUSTRADA, IGNORANTE, Y QUE LE GUSTA DEL CINE CON MUCHA FICCION, PERO CON POBRE, HUECO Y TONTO CONTENIDO, QUE MÁS COMENTARIOS SE PUEDEN ESPERAR...

I teach 8th grade Reading, and we have been creating a "Dream Cast" for The Hunger Games. I just poetsd their recommendation for Haymitch, and there's a link in that post to the cast list my students created last year. There are so many opinions for this movie cast, and sometimes I receive very NEGATIVE comments for our selections, but you can be the judge! Visit my blog: www(dot)lenzilikesit(dot)com for our cast list and a link to last year's recommendations by my 8th graders. (I also have a very unbecoming picture of myself dressed as Katniss Everdeen. I created and wore a costume to resemble her training attire! I wore it the first two days we read the novel to introduce the main character to my students! Ha!) My 8th graders are in no way on their way to becoming future casting agents, so keep in mind that they only recommended BIG NAMES for the roles. Do you know how many times I had to convince my classroom full of 8th grade boys that Megan Fox was too old to play Katniss? Sheesh! We had fun creating our list, and I LOVE teaching the novel. My students who typically HATE reading love this book and eagerly read Catching Fire when we finish The Hunger Games. Again, the blog address is lenzilikesit(dot)com. We eagerly await the movie and hope it lives up to the book!

típica película orientada al público infanto juvenil, que cae en el cliché del huérfano que intenta escapar de su realidad, trama simple que no inspira curiosidad, personajes poco complejos. un oscar a la moralina es todo lo que merecíais

I'll have to mention Dragons in our Midst to my dghtuaer, who's 11. She's a Warriors fan too (am I the only one who gets tired of hearing about the cats?) and a major fan of dragons. Right now, in addition to whatever Warrior book she's in the middle of, she's reading The Sight by David Clement-Davies and we've been reading Leaping Beauty by Gregory Maguire in the evenings the past two days.

Una película bonita, para niños grandes y adultos que aman el cine. Basada en un personaje histórico real, y un niño huérfano que tiene un talento, realidad mezclada con fantasía. Quienes quieren ver acción se decepcionarán.

I think reading Rose's story would have been sowhemat disappointing. The wonderful pictures portrayed the mystery behind her life...who was she, who was the beautiful actress, and Walter? Words would have been inadequate...too limiting. I really like how Selznick tells so much of the story through illustrations. It gives more scope for the reader's imagination.

Ésa es una película para cinéfilos, y por lo visto ustedes no son más que personas que ignoran el buen cine. Cultura, Cultura ante todo ;)

I'm glad you liked it, too! I'm planning on sienndg it to my 11 year old nephew for Christmas, but only if I can wait that long (and if I don't decide to keep the copy for myself!)

it includes deaf curlute and you know that is right up my alley! But, I know the book is already reserved. Maybe it will give me some time to read The Invention of Hugo Cabret first!
